Managing Partners

Dr. Damon A. Williams

Is a managing partner in the Williams Wade Golden Research and Consulting Group and the assistant vice president for Multicultural & International Affairs at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Williams is the consummate scholar practitioner and an expert in the area of strategy having worked with several higher education, corporate, and non-profit organizations in recent years. Dr. Williams provides particular expertise in the areas of organizational behavior and management, change, strategic communications, and evaluation and assessment. His research and consulting approach leverages a confluence of literatures including and not limited to sociology of organizations, social psychology, business management, marketing communications, educational theory, anthropology and cultural studies.

In his role at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Williams leads several executive level organizational development, marketing, research, and leadership initiatives. Dr. Williams holds the doctorate of organizational behavior and management from the University of Michigan, School of Education as well as the Masters and Bachelor of Science degrees from Miami University in leadership development and sociology respectively.

 

Katrina Wade-Golden, MS

Is a managing partner in the Williams Wade Golden Research and Consulting Group and a senior research scientist at the University of Michigan, Office of Academic and Multicultural Initiatives. Ms. Wade-Golden brings over 10 years of experience working with complex longitudinal data sets and has broad expertise leading research engagements in the corporate, higher education, and non-profit sectors utilizing a range of qualitative and quantitative techniques. Ms. Wade Golden possesses particular expertise in the areas of measurement, questionnaire design, social psychology, organizational diversity, and complex data-analyses.

In her role at the University of Michigan, Ms. Wade-Golden leads several projects including at 15 year longitudinal multi-method study of inter-group dynamics, identity, experiences with diversity, and student and professional development. Ms Wade-Golden holds the Masters of Science degree in Industrial Operations (IO) Psychology from Wayne State University (WSU) and is currently completing her doctoral theses at WSU in IO. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan with her undergraduate degree in psychology.
